You may access and print information and Materials from the site for personal, informational, educational, and non-commercial purposes only. Any other use of the Materials is expressly prohibited.

Submissions Disclaimer

The services, information, or data made available through the website are provided to the visitor as submitted by the Members, Participants, and Advertisers. Although every effort is made to check each submission, International Gateways, Inc. is not responsible for false information or incomplete submissions.

Registration/Listings

Publisher

International Gateways, Inc. is the “Publisher” of  International Gateways.com^® an online directory and network for the individual “Member or Participant.”

Member or Participant

The “Member or Participant” is an individual business or organization promoting their organization by their presence on the website for informational and contact purposes.

Application/Registration

In order to be listed in our website Directory, you must first complete an application or registration form. When registering on the website, you agree to provide accurate, true, current, and complete information about you and/or your business as requested by the application/registration fields. Your personal information will be protected as described in our Privacy Policy. Individual profiles will vary depending on the Member’s needs.

Advertising

Publisher

International Gateways, Inc. is the “Publisher” of  International Gateways.com^®, an online website for the individual “Advertiser”.

Advertiser

The “Advertiser” is an individual, business, or organization promoting their organization by their ad on the website or URL linking for advertisement purposes.

Types of Advertising

International Gateways, Inc, “Publisher” provides the following Advertising opportunities: (1) Website banner ads, text ads, and limited direct URL linking, and (2) eNewsletter banner ads, text ads, and coupons.

Contract Agreement

By submitting an advertisement the Advertiser is agreeing to the TERMS and CONDITIONS set forth herein and acknowledges that this agreement constitutes a legally binding contract. Furthermore, the Advertiser agrees that this submission is for advertisement purposes for an agreed upon fee and for a specified time as listed in the submission guidelines.

Events Calendar & Announcements

General

International Gateways, Inc. offers the Members or Visitors the opportunity to post events and announcements on its Calendar and Announcement pages that are of a public and cultural nature. International Gateways, Inc. reserves the right to review the Calendar and Announcement entries for appropriate and timely content. Entries, text and/or images, deemed unsuitable or offensive to our website will not be posted.

User Levels

Calendar users are assigned either a Courtesy or General User level as defined on the Calendar Information page.

Calendar Fees

The use of active links to URLs in a Calendar Event entry are considered additional promotion of that event and may be subject to a fee depending upon the submitter’s User category. Courtesy Users may add a URL link to their events at no charge. General Users may add a URL link, which is optional, to their events for a fee.

There is no fee for the use of hyperlinks to URLs in Announcement entries.
There is no fee for the use of email addresses in either Calendar Events or Announcements.

Restricted Content

The website contents must be positive and honoring to a country or a culture’s heritage. This is a family-friendly website and follows the guidelines as set forth in the Children’s Online Privacy and Protection Act of 1998. International Gateways, Inc. reserves the right to restrict or to limit content we reasonably determine offensive or illegal. The following is a partial list of the kind of content that is restricted or prohibited on this website:

• Is patently offensive to the online community, such as content that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical/emotional harm of any kind against any group or individual;
• Could be harmful to minors;
• Harasses or advocates harassment of another person or group;
• Promotes information that you know is false, misleading, or promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous;
• Involves the transmission of “junk mail”, “chain letters”, or unsolicited mass mailing or  “spamming”;
• Promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person’s copyrighted work, or trademark, such as providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing pirated music or links to pirated music files;
• Displays pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind;
• Provides instructional information about illegal activities such as making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone’s privacy, or providing or creating computer viruses;
• Solicits passwords or personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from another user.

Violation of the Terms

You understand and agree that in International Gateways, Inc.’s sole discretion, and without prior notice, we may terminate your access to the website, cancel your membership or exercise any other remedy and remove any unauthorized user content, if we believe that the content you provided has violated or is inconsistent with these TERMS of USE, violated the rights of International Gateways^® or another user, or the law.

Refunds

International Gateways, Inc. wants every customer to be satisfied with the service we provide. If, however, if you want to cancel the banner or text advertising campaign you have submitted, and the campaign has not been uploaded to the website, your request will be considered. If you have submitted a storefront linking request, your request will be considered if received within the first 10 days of posting. Send your request, in writing, by email, fax, or mail, along with your name, business or organization name, address, phone number, account number, the date of your request, and the reason you are requesting a refund. When all of this information is received and reviewed, a refund will be issued. No refunds shall be given for pages removed due to violation of the TERMS & CONDITIONS.

SECURITY

 International Gateways, Inc. maintains appropriate safeguards to protect your information. To insure security, integrity, and privacy of sensitive information sent to International Gateways.com^®, email addresses, banking information, and personal information not listed, is not given out to the public.

 

PRIVACY

International Gateways, Inc. values the privacy of our clients, prospects, and eNewsletter subscribers. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this website. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by International Gateways, Inc., or of this website.

Information Collected

Personal information collected from Members, Participants, and Advertisers may include names, addresses, phone numbers, fax numbers, and email addresses. Information the Members, Participants, and Advertisers choose to display on the listings or ads is considered public information. Currently, we do not collect personal information from any visitors to the website.

Use of Information

International Gateways^® uses the information submitted by the Members, Participants, and Advertisers and approved links for the following purposes: individual online listing entry, membership directory, marketing, eNewsletter, and website announcements.

Corrections, Changes, Updates

If your personally identifiable information changes (such as your phone number), your listing needs to be edited, or if you no longer desire our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, change, remove, or update your public or personal data provided to us. Send your request in writing by letter, fax, or by email.

Security of Information

All information collected will be handled with careful consideration. Information, other than posted on the online directory, is considered private.  We do not distribute or sell our mailing lists, email lists, or any personal information to other companies or other third parties.

Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless International Gateways, Inc., it’s affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from and against any and all liabilities, losses, claims, damages including but not limited to consequential, incidental and punitive damages and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees arising out of your violation of these POLICIES or misuse of this website.

Notice of New Services and Changes

Additions of new services, or changes in existing services to the website after the initial June 2004 launch, may require amendments to the POLICIES document.  Such amendments and their effective dates will be posted in an “Update Alert” on the Policies page.

UPDATE ALERT: Adjustments to the Directory membership terms and Calendar events, along with Advertising added to the website, take effect July 1, 2006.

Choice of Law and Venue

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado without regard to conflicts of law. All disputes arising under or in connection with this agreement shall be adjudicated in the District Court of Arapahoe County, Colorado, USA.
